Several starters were missing at Wednesday's practice for the New England Patriots.
The timing isn't the greatest ahead of a pivotal Sunday Night Football showdown with the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. A win for the Patriots would clinch a spot in the postseason and keep them in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC conference.

Veteran cornerback Carlton Davis III, cornerback Marcus Jones, edge rusher Harold Landry III and linebacker Robert Spillane were all listed as non-participants at practice due to an injury. Linebacker Christian Elliss was also sidelined with an illness.
However, the Patriots aren't alone in their concerns for availability for the Week 16 game. The Ravens were missing several players as well, including quarterback Lamar Jackson and linebacker Roquan Smith.
