Industry veteran Vija Williams has been named the first-ever Chief Growth Officer at seller lead platform Realty.com, the company informed Inman on Monday.

As Chief Growth Officer, Williams will oversee growth strategy; the platform’s expansion; partnerships across teams, agents and enterprises; and the development of training and implementation programs.

“Realty.com has reached an important inflection point,” Lance Custen, founder and CEO of Realty.com, said in a statement. “After years of building our foundation, including our technology, our seller ecosystem and our nationwide exclusive model, we are now focused on scaling with intention.

“Vija brings a rare combination of operation discipline, industry credibility and a deep understanding of how to grow without compromising value. She is exactly the leader we need for this next chapter.”

Williams has held a handful of leadership roles in the industry over the course of her career, including three years as president of Ben Kinney Brokerages, nearly one year as head of growth for the Upgrade Community at eXp Realty, and about three-and-a-half years as head of industry at Place.

During her tenure at Ben Kinney, Williams significantly grew agent count, contributing to a 251 percent increase in sales volume over the course of three years.

While at Realty.com, Williams will continue to work with Place and own and operate her Seattle-based team, Vija Real Estate. She will also continue work as a coach with the Jon Cheplak organization.
