Jon Cooke has stepped down as a Non-Executive Director at GPEA, the business that owned Fine & Country and The Guild of Property Professionals.
GPEA says Cooke played a key role in the 2024 deal that brought both brands under the ownership of The Property Franchise Group, helping to shape their direction during a “pivotal” period for the sector.
Cooke joined The Guild as a non-executive director in 2001 and later co-founded Fine & Country with Malcolm Lindley, with the premium brand grown into a global network of licensed offices focused on the upper quartile of the market.

Cooke was also closely involved in the growth of property technology and data services, including at Nurtur, which supplies technology services to estate agencies and financial services businesses.

I am particularly proud of the Fine and Country foundation and look forward to all the new F&C ambassadors continuing the important charity work.
Cooke will now focus on innovation in the property sector and continue in his role as a Non-Exec Director for The Lomond Group.
